Scientific Abstract
The Symposium of the Microscopy Imaging Center of the University of Bern 2025 is dedicated to “Multi-scale imaging across modalities”. Multi-scale imaging allows visualization of biological tissue structure and function over a wide range of resolutions ranging from the subcellular level to the anatomy of whole-organs. This symposium will cover state-of-the-art technical advancements in modalities such as light-sheet microscopy, super-resolution microscopy and electron microscopy. In addition, a session will be dedicated to introducing emerging imaging modalities for biological imaging including novel optical microscopy approaches and synchrotron-based microtomography.
