MIC Trainings
The MIC trainings cover topics from the basics of wide-field microscopy to training in confocal microscopy and other advanced methods. Other MIC trainings teach you how to use software applications for analyzing microscopy images.
MIC training courses are open to all UniBE employees, are free of charge, and are not offered as ECTS-credit-bearing activities. Exception: Only doctoral students in the Cutting Edge Microscopy (CEM) program can earn ECTS credits for MIC trainings if they pass a separate exam. In this exam, candidates must discuss the topic of the MIC training and its implementation in their own research.
The MIC trainings are complemented by MIC workshops for students on the master and PhD level. MIC workshops are designed to introduce the wide range of microscopy methods available at the MIC and are led by microscopy experts from the University of Bern. Read more about possible MIC workshops here.
